About Ray Bond Studios

The Man Behind The Music
Raymond Bond has had a passion for music since he was 5 years old. His first instrument was the piano, followed up by the alto saxophone, and later the guitar.
He completed his music degree at UMass Boston in 2019, followed by a Music Production Certificate from Berklee. He began his composing career immediately upon graduating by working with local animators.
Ray also holds a degree in psychology. He crafted a thesis on The Intersection of Punk Music & Queer Identity through a community psychology framework. The work was presented at the Northeast Chapter of Ethnomusicology in 2018. It has since been reformed and expanded into a video essay series available on YouTube.
In addition to composition, Ray performs in support of local nonprofit organizations and works as a crisis line lead.
This website features a variety of music projects composed, produced, and performed by Raymond Bond. Projects are made in the interest of supporting other artists as well as personal and educational growth.
Ray's work has been described as Ennio Morricone on Acid, as well as Billie Joe Armstrong Meets Mac Quayle. Check out his work here.
